Graduate Engineer

Main Purpose

We are looking for a graduate engineer for our Glasgow office. The ideal candidate should have graduated from a civil engineering degree, with good maths skills. We can teach everything else!

This role will be office based Monday to Friday. The candidate will convert enquiries into innovative efficient solutions, which best combine the commercial and technical aspects in order to achieve profitable revenue. To contribute to the growth and profitability of the RMDK Group by fulfilling their role within the business.

Responsibilities

Customer Engagement

To convert enquiries from customers and the Sales Team into drawings and quotations for the supply of RMDK equipment on a hire and sale basis.

Teamwork and Support

To work under the control, instruction, and guidance of the Engineering Manager and other senior staff and in conjunction with the Sales Team.

• To seek assistance from other Engineering Staff in RMDK product calculations and applications when required.

To support orders received from customers through the production of final drawings, cost estimates, progress paperwork, and agreement of variations, all through the Sales Team and as required for each project.

Quality and Standards

To carry out work in accordance with RMDK BSEN ISO Procedures and RMDK Quality Assurance Procedures.

Health and Safety

To have a proactive responsibility for RMDK Health and Safety issues.

Continuous Learning

To enter into a continuous learning process in RMDK and Civil Engineering methodology and to work towards a level of experience determined by the Chief Engineer.
