Already Have a Connection to Japan? Speak some Japanese?

We’re very interested to speak with ambitious, Japanese-speaking, IT graduates from UK or Ireland universities to join our Tokyo-based team — not just for a job, but for a career pathway that takes you from hands-on technical support to IT Infrastructure Project Management & Consulting.

We're not expecting perfect Japanese language skills, but if you do already have experience with the language, it will be highly advantageous!

So, if Japan already feels familiar, this role gives you the opportunity to turn that connection into a career!

Maybe you:

  • Grew up in Japan and studied overseas

  • Attended an international school in Japan before going to university abroad

  • Studied Japanese and spent a semester or year in Japan

  • Have family or cultural ties to Japan and want to return after graduating

Whatever your connection, we can help you to turn that experience into the start of a global technology career.

Start and grow your IT career in Tokyo

Start as a hands-on IT Support & Infrastructure Engineer and build toward becoming a fully Bilingual IT Infrastructure Project Manager / Consultant working with global clients.

This isn’t a gap year.

It’s a launchpad!

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll begin your journey as part of our enterprise IT support and infrastructure team, working alongside experienced engineers delivering IT services to international companies across Tokyo.

Over time, you’ll develop into a consultant capable of leading infrastructure deployments, managing stakeholders, and delivering complex IT projects.

In the early stages you’ll gain hands-on experience with:

  • End-user computing support (Windows, Office 365, mobile, cloud apps)

  • Systems administration (Active Directory / Entra ID, Azure, networking fundamentals)

  • Microsoft 365 and cloud productivity platforms

  • Networking and infrastructure troubleshooting, supporting deployments & upgrades

  • On-site and remote enterprise support - supporting users across multinational corporate environments

  • Client-facing technical problem solving

You won’t just be resetting passwords.

You’ll be learning how real enterprise IT systems operate.

Long-Term Path: IT Infrastructure Consultant

Expand into technical projects coordination and leadership. For example:

  • Infrastructure migrations & rollouts

  • Cloud implementation (Azure-based environments)

  • Vendor coordination & procurement consulting

  • Technical documentation & audit reporting

  • Stakeholder communication & delivery planning

We hire for long-term growth — not short-term helpdesk churn. Engineers who excel in this role often move into positions involving:

  • Vendor coordination and technology consulting

  • Project management and delivery

  • Client relationship management

  • Infrastructure architecture planning

You’ll move from solving problems to designing solutions.

Who Thrives Here?

You might be a fit if you:

  • Achieved (or are on track for) a 2:1 or higher

  • Are genuinely into tech (you tinker, build, fix, optimise)

  • Want international exposure early in your career

  • Prefer solving real-world infrastructure problems over pure coding

  • Have the confidence to work directly with business users

  • Like the idea of becoming a consultant — not just an engineer

This program focuses on IT infrastructure, systems and cloud environments, and project delivery.

Software development roles are not part of this programme.

Career Acceleration

You’ll:

  • Study for industry technical certifications (with financial bonuses for passing).

  • Work directly with multinational enterprise clients.

  • Gain exposure to many IT infrastructure environments.

  • Develop client-facing consulting skills, early.

  • Build cross-cultural business experience.

In a few years, your CV won’t look like a typical graduate CV. It’ll look global.

Why Tokyo?

Because starting your career in London or Dublin is predictable. Starting it in Tokyo isn’t.

Working here means exposure to:

  • One of the safest cities in the world

  • A global financial and technology hub

  • The ever-reliable public transport system (read about it!)

  • A cultural experience unlike anywhere else

You’ll grow professionally — and personally.

…And outside of work?

You’re living in a city known for its culture, food, design, technology and energy.

Few graduate roles combine career acceleration and life experience like this.
