As a Graduate Planner, you'll gain hands-on experience across a wide range of planning activities. From processing planning applications for a diverse range of development types to contributing to the preparation and monitoring of the development plan, you'll be fully involved in work that shapes Fife's communities.
Over the two-year programme, you'll be supported every step of the way. You will work towards completing your RTPI logbook and developing the professional competencies required for Chartered Membership of the RTPI. Applicants must demonstrate their RTPI membership status within their application.

The Person
Planning Services is seeking enthusiastic and motivated graduates to join our high-performing Planning Service as Graduate Planners. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals aiming to start or develop their career in town and country planning within a large and diverse local authority area.
Our systems and technology make it easy for our staff to work from any location. That means that whilst we are based in Glenrothes, the posts are offered on a blended working arrangement, which can include a significant element of working from home.
We're looking for enthusiastic, motivated individuals with a passion for planning and great customer care. You should be able to demonstrate knowledge and competence relevant to the role and meet the essential criteria outlined for the post.
