Application deadline: Recruitment is ongoing. Please apply as soon as possible as the advert may close once we have sufficient applicants.
Your Role
We are seeking a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join our Energy team in our Redditch or Newcastle office as part of our 2026 Graduate Programme.
Our work in the energy and resources sector spans iconic hydropower and pumped storage schemes, conventional and advanced thermal power generation, recycling systems, and mining and minerals.
Beyond traditional advisory and owner's engineer roles, we are rapidly establishing ourselves in EPCM (Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management) and design services for major new-build projects, including plastics recycling, renewable power generation, and complex treatment/production facilities. We are involved across the full project lifecycle—from concept development and FEED (Front End Engineering Design), through detailed design and procurement, to construction and commissioning. We also provide refurbishment, optimisation advice, and design services.
As part of the Design Services Team, you will support all areas of mechanical engineering in developing efficient technical solutions. You will contribute from optioneering through detailed design and installation, and you will be involved in feasibility studies, site surveys, and investigations.
You will join a supportive, collaborative team with strong career progression opportunities, excellent client exposure, and a culture of innovation.
About You
We value your potential over past experience. You will hold, at minimum, a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Design, and demonstrate a keen interest in the energy sector.
