About the Job You're Considering

Working across a huge spectrum of challenges, you will provide IT consultancy expertise that will transform how our clients conduct their day-to-day business and how they interact with their own customers, streamlining their business processes and enhancing profitability. Understanding how we can support these clients; you will ensure the right apps and technology are in place to exceed their expectations.

Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Your Role

 To give you more of an idea of what’s involved you could be:

  • You’ll implement solutions across all areas of the business, including Financial Management, Supply Chain, Customer Experience, HR and Digital Commerce.
  • You will be working on client premises to develop and improve cloud and platform-based products and applications and to help our clients transform their business. 
  • You’ll contribute to project delivery, benefitting from the support and guidance of your colleagues 
  • You’ll offer consultancy expertise, implementing large scale IT transformation projects to the highest standards 

As an SAP Consultant, you will be placed in one of several specialised teams within our organisation.

  •  Engagement Management –  September / October Intake - Responsible for managing and delivering SAP projects, initially support the Project Manager in a PMO role or the Test Manager in a testing role.
  • DTS solutions – Design to Supply –  September / October Intake - Responsible for designing, building, testing & implementing Digital Supply Chain SAP solutions, from design and planning to manufacturing, logistics, and operations
  • OTC solutions – Order to Cash Team – October Intake - Responsible for designing, building, testing & implementing Order to Cash SAP solutions, including end-to-end business processes from receiving a customer order through to receiving payment for the goods or services delivered.

Each team is responsible for designing, building, testing, and implementing SAP solutions in their respective areas, ensuring an adaptable and comprehensive experience in SAP project management and solution delivery.

Your Skills and Experience 

  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or related technical degrees. 
  • Passion for technology 
  • Good interpersonal skills 
  • Good team working and communications skills 
  • Great customer service skills 
  • Someone who enjoys solving problems and using their analytical skills

Your Security Clearance 

Security Check (SC) Clearance
To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance.

To obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements.

Throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality.

Some posts are restricted to sole UK Nationals for security reasons; therefore, you may be asked about your citizenship in the application process.

Note: You will have lived in the UK for the last five years with no more than 28 days out of the country (in order to meet security clearance requirements). You may be required to work away from home during the week after the initial training period.
