Overview

  • Position: Graduate Project Manager - Consenting & Environment
  • Location: Multiple UK locations available
  • Programme Length: 18 months

About the Programme

Our 18-month Graduate Programme offers hands-on experience across various teams, giving you deep insight into the renewable energy industry. You will be supported by a buddy system, attend industry events and conferences, and undertake further training, including achieving the APM Project Management Qualification (APM PMQ).

By the end of the programme, you will be ready to step into an Assistant Project Manager role, either supporting a major renewable energy project or leading several smaller ones.

What You Will Be Doing

Working alongside experienced project managers and our PMO team, you will gain practical skills in:

  • Developing project plans covering scope, scheduling, budgeting, and resources
  • Managing project budgets and cash flow
  • Identifying and mitigating project risks
  • Tracking and reporting on project progress
  • Liaising with clients and addressing project queries
  • Supporting commercial decisions that impact project delivery

You will be part of our Consenting & Environment team, a group of planners, project managers, and technical specialists working across the full lifecycle of onshore and offshore renewable projects—from site identification to post-consent support.

What We Are Looking For

  • A 2:1 degree in Project Management (completed within the last 18 months)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • A proactive, flexible mindset with the ability to multitask and adapt quickly
  • A team player who also shows confidence and initiative when working independently
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with colleagues and clients
