Graduate job

🌍 Location and working style

We're based in the heart of London's vibrant financial and insurance district at 70 St Mary Axe, just a few minutes' walk from Liverpool Street Station. We operate a hybrid working model, but during your initial onboarding you'll spend 2–3 days per week in the office. This helps ensure a smooth learning curve, close support, and strong team integration as you get up to speed.

🔍 Overview:

We are looking for a Quantitative Analyst to join our Pricing & Profitability team within Credit Risk. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with data, programming, and turning analysis into commercial decisions that improve customer outcomes and portfolio performance.

If you like owning your work, building strong data foundations, and learning fast in a high-impact environment, this role will give you exposure across pricing, unit economics, and portfolio strategy.

📋 What you will be doing in the role:

  • You'll play a key part in developing, monitoring, and deploying pricing strategies that support responsible lending and sustainable portfolio growth. You'll collaborate closely with colleagues across Pricing, Credit Risk, Data, Product, Engineering, and Commercial teams.
  • Our primary programming language is Python, and you'll also use SQL regularly.
  • Supporting the management and monitoring of pricing strategies, including daily performance MI, data quality checks, and investigating movements in key KPIs (e.g., acceptance rate, yield losses, and margin).
  • Assisting with pricing strategy deployment activities such as preparing inputs, validating outputs, and supporting controlled change processes.
  • Contributing to pricing strategy testing (e.g., champion/challenger), including building monitoring packs, defining success metrics, and assessing results.
  • Supporting unit-economics cashflow modelling and forecasting through structured data preparation, parameter tracking, and scenario analysis.
  • Assisting with introducer commission analytics and reporting, including segmentation and monitoring of commission outcomes.
  • Conducting exploratory analysis to identify drivers of performance and risk-adjusted returns across channels and customer groups.
  • Supporting ad hoc analysis across credit risk, pricing, and portfolio strategy, translating business questions into clear, data-led insights.
  • Communicating findings to stakeholders clearly and confidently, with guidance and mentorship from senior team members.

👤 If the below sounds like you, we'd love to meet you:

  • 0–2 years' experience in analytics, pricing, credit risk, or a related quantitative field (financial services experience is helpful, not essential).
  • Strong quantitative skills and confidence working with datasets (cleaning, joining, aggregating, validating).
  • Experience programming in Python, plus working knowledge of SQL (or the motivation to learn quickly).
  • Interest in statistical modelling and performance measurement (e.g., regression, classification, A/B testing, monitoring metrics).
  • Solid problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and comfort working with ambiguity while iterating towards solutions.
  • Strong communication skills and curiosity to understand "what drives the numbers."
  • A degree (or equivalent experience) in a quantitative subject such as Maths, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or Computer Science.

💚 Our perks
