About this role

Join us in a vital role dedicated to making our communities safer, stronger, and more resilient in the face of evolving challenges affecting local residents. You’ll play an active part in supporting key initiatives, ranging from training with the Lancashire Resilience Forum and monitoring community tensions, to contributing to national priorities such as the Violence Against Women and Girls strategy and work to protect children from abuse, while developing into a valued member of a multi-disciplinary service. Working collaboratively with teams across Community Safety, Social Cohesion, Health and Safety, Emergency Planning and Events, you’ll help design and deliver strategies in partnership with community groups, faith organisations, statutory bodies and other agencies. This unique opportunity offers the chance to engage with a diverse network of stakeholders, all committed to building healthier, happier, and safer communities.
