We're the leading provider of automated legal solutions for startups in the UK, with offices in London, New York and Paris, and a team in Ireland.
We believe entrepreneurship should be accessible to everyone. Since we launched in 2016, we've served more than 60,000 startups who have collectively raised more than £2 billion on our platform. We've changed how early-stage companies fundraise, reward their teams and scale their businesses, forever.
Our Values
- Invest and trust in each other
- Are committed to a growth mindset
- Embrace diversity and cultivate inclusion
- Are driven by customer success
Joining our high performing Sales Team, you will spend your time speaking to some of the most interesting founders and senior stakeholders in UK start-ups, learning about their businesses and promoting the advantages of the SeedLegals platform - with a particular focus on our fundraising products. This is a fantastic entry point into a high-growth sales career, with full training and support provided from day one. We're looking for a motivated self-starter who is eager to learn, grow, and build a track record in sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage directly with founders and decision-makers at innovative UK startups, learning how to identify the right fundraising product and strategy to meet their goals.
- Manage a 100+ pipeline of startups - learning how to prioritise leads, keep communication timely and professional, and progress deals through the sales cycle effectively.
- Follow our sales process and CRM discipline rigorously - keeping records up to date, logging every interaction, and using the data to stay on top of your pipeline.
- Develop your ability to listen actively and ask the right questions, gaining an understanding of individual startup needs and learning to demonstrate how SeedLegals can support them.
- Focus on SeedLegals' fundraising solutions - helping founders understand how our platform simplifies seed rounds, SEIS/EIS, and early-stage investment documentation.
- Help build positive relationships with founders from initial enquiry through to onboarding and first purchase.
- Participate in regular training sessions, team calls, and gain exposure to founders, investors, and serial entrepreneurs.
- Encouraged to share ideas and feedback on the product, the sales process, or the customer experience.
Requirements
- Ambitious and hungry to build a career in sales.
- Some background or genuine interest in business, finance, or law.
- A self-starter who also enjoys working as part of a team.
- Excited by the idea of speaking with startup founders every day.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Enjoy building rapport and are naturally curious about people.
- Eager to learn quickly and develop deep product knowledge.
- Strong people skills, with the ability to listen, empathise, and engage.
- Have a growth mindset and actively seek out feedback and improvement.
- Previous sales experience is a plus, but not essential.
Benefits
- Share options: the option to buy shares in SeedLegals via our performance-based share option scheme.
- Contributory pension, private healthcare, critical illness cover, and life insurance.
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays and your birthday off.
