Savills award-winning programme sees graduates gain the training, experience and support they need to build fulfilling careers in real estate. We support all graduates through their training programmes and further career development with opportunities up to director level. 40% of our Board joined the business as graduates.

There are various pathways you can follow on our schemes. Find out which part of our business would suit you best by understanding the roles we offer and the different services we provide. Please note that for our Graduate applications, we will send applicants an online behavioural assessment once they submit their application. This test is not timed, but on average takes about 45 minutes. This is part of the application stage and will need to be completed within a week of making the application.

Both cognate and non-cognate degree candidates will be considered.

Planning Graduate Scheme
With nearly 300 planners across the UK, we are the largest planning department in any mainstream real estate practice with a reputation for success and professionalism, working with all types of property. Both cognate and non-cognate degree candidates will be considered.

Forestry Graduate Scheme
The UK Forestry sector continues to see impressive growth due to strong woodland values, high demand for timber and increasing woodland creation targets backed by the need to reduce net carbon emissions. This, combined with the various environmental benefits that woodlands provide, makes the sector a very exciting industry to work and develop a career in.

Food and Farming Graduate Scheme
The Farming industry is constantly evolving. The pressures of providing cheap food within a sustainable environment, combined with new agricultural and environmental policy, means the sector continues to be a very exciting industry to work and develop a career in.

Engineering Graduate Scheme
As a graduate on the engineering and design team, our graduates will gain experience across a wide range of skills and experiences. We have a variety of different service lines within our team and the wider Savills Earth division that help in developing strong all round engineering mindset.

Energy Graduate Scheme
As a graduate on the energy pathway, our graduates will gain experience across a wider variety of different service lines and skills. One day our graduates could be out undertaking energy audits on managed sites, the next undertaking research to support a Director’s strategic advice on low carbon energy infrastructure of national importance.

Environment and Infrastructure Graduate Scheme
Savills Environment and Infrastructure is a department in the Planning Division that is focused on managing environmental impacts and sustainability for major development projects, providing a range of specialist consultancy services. We have a strong focus on the UK’s infrastructure – such as energy and carbon capture projects to deliver net zero, among many others – but work on projects of all types and scales.
