Graduate job

Description

Ryden is a leading independent firm of surveyors specialising in all aspects of commercial property advice. Headquartered in Scotland, we have over 130 colleagues working across offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen. We strive to create a dynamic, engaging and collaborative working environment for all of our team, because we firmly believe that our people are crucial to the success and growth of Ryden. Ryden is an independent LLP within the LSH Group of Companies.

We advise numerous clients across Northern Scotland from our Aberdeen office, across a number of industries. Examples of recent work include the letting of over 18,000 square foot of office space to a public regulator in one of the region's biggest deals of the year, providing investment advice and service in the sale of 47 individual ground lease units for a REIT client and providing rental, capital valuation and lease advisory services for a chain of veterinary practices.

Opportunity

We are recruiting a Graduate Surveyor to sit across our Professional Services and Agency teams to support our fee earners in the Aberdeen office. Working within an award-winning team of chartered surveyors, the successful candidate will support the agency team across work they do covering offices and industrial properties, assist with lease advisory for the same properties, assist with the sale and letting of commercial assets, engage directly with clients, and regularly network with industry contacts, all while providing a high standard of customer service to clients.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a high quality and successful market-facing team and help our chartered fee-earners in delivering excellent service and outcomes for our clients. This role offers the opportunity for you to work with a great team and work towards becoming a chartered surveyor. Ryden has the necessary inhouse experience, structures, and quality of client instruction to mentor you throughout the two-year training process.
