Description
The Graduate Trainee Site Manager will support the delivery of high-voltage electrical distribution projects, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and technical standards. This role provides hands-on experience in site management, project coordination, and technical operations within the power distribution sector.
Key Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist the Site Manager in planning, organizing, and supervising site activities for HV electrical distribution projects.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.
- Support the coordination of subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to meet project timelines and quality standards.
- Monitor site progress, prepare reports, and escalate issues promptly.
- Learn and apply technical knowledge of HV systems, including switchgear, transformers, and cable installations.
- Participate in site inspections, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records for project handover.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Skills and Experience
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Other: Full UK driving license (or equivalent), willingness to travel and work on-site.
Qualifications and Skills
- Education: Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
- Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of electrical distribution networks and HV equipment.
