Placement
About the Internship
An internship program is a structured, temporary work experience offered to current students, recent graduates, or individuals looking to gain practical experience in a specific field. It serves as a bridge between academic education and the professional world, allowing participants to apply what they've learned in real-world settings.
This role will rotate across the Procurement team during the 12 months placement to allow the intern to gain experience across the procurement buying life cycle.
The intern will need to work cross functionally across various Haven teams to support the delivery of the agreed supplier and category strategies to ensure we maximize commercial value where relevant, whilst driving service, safety & security, innovation and guest/ team experience.
The intern will support the team managing the supplier systems used to onboard new suppliers, manage key catalogues and also support the supplier management of some key accounts. They will identify opportunities to rationalise and consolidate the supply base to drive efficiencies for the brand. This may require running small tenders, benchmarking exercises or direct supplier negotiations.
In the final rotation of the placement, the intern will move to one of the category managed areas to support with running a supplier tender end to end process.
