Work experience
We are seeking passionate holiday camp mentors to teach at our educational camps this summer. This position is adaptable as you are not required to work every day, however, you must be available to work in July and August. Shifts are assigned on an availability basis.
We are a small, friendly company consisting of a team of passionate tutors and mentors. Holiday camps include science, engineering, pre-medicine, coding and robotics, artificial intelligence, humanoid robotics, veterinary medicine.
About the Role
Camps will take place in-person in South Kensington or Knightsbridge. You will teach a group of children between the ages of 4-17 years old depending on the subject. You will also supervise children during breaks and will be responsible for getting resources ready and tidying up at the end of the day. All content is provided for you. In other words, you are not required to plan or prepare any materials, however, you must read and understand the content.
You will deliver content as per the instructions given this will involve demonstrations, group activities, experiments and guiding discussions (depending on the subject). Each day is divided into 3 sessions of activities with a morning break and a lunch break during the day. You will also be responsible for tidying resources at the end of the day and preparing resources for the following day.
The holiday camp shift takes place between 8 am - 4 pm. You will have a scheduled lunch break each day.
The ideal candidate will have some prior teaching experience with children. However, this is not a requirement to apply for this job. An engaging personality and passion for teaching is required. We provide training and support for all staff.
You will report directly to the supervisor on duty.
Salary starts from £120 per day.

This position is open to both undergraduates and postgraduates. We are particularly interested to hear from students from the following degrees: engineering (all disciplines), medicine, sciences, computer science, artificial intelligence, robotics, veterinary medicine.
Initial interviews take place online.
We are primarily looking for students available to work in the summer. However, we are also interested in hearing from candidates who are available to work in Easter as well as the summer and beyond.
