We’re looking for a part-qualified Structural Engineer to join our progressive, award-winning Civil and Structural Engineering team in our Bristol office. You’ll join us as an Industrial Placement student in 2026, delivering sustainable projects for our communities, planet, and society. This is a fantastic opportunity for students studying an engineering degree with a passion for the built environment to learn alongside a highly collaborative multi-disciplinary team focused on sustainability, technical excellence, and shaping construction for the UK.
Your Role
- Contribute to project work at concept and scheme design stages, including modelling, detailed design, specifications, and drawings.
- Prepare reports, providing advice and guidance to clients and project teams.
- Undertake STEM engagement activities.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, developing strong relationships and people skills.
- Manage your workload to meet project deadlines.
- Arrange and attend meetings, take minutes, and distribute actions.

Working Pattern
Placement students are asked to attend the office a minimum of four days per week to ensure colleagues can provide the appropriate level of support.
