Conservation isn’t just about wildlife—it’s about people, communities, and impact. That’s why we’re looking for storytellers, digital creators, community builders, finance thinkers, and change makers to help protect both nature and people.
Who we are
Synchronicity Earth is a UK-based charity funding conservation projects around the world. We work closely with local and Indigenous communities, supporting initiatives focused on biodiversity, human rights, and sustainable livelihoods. We support overlooked and underfunded species and ecosystems across six programmes: Amphibian, Asian Species, Biocultural Diversity, Congo Basin, Freshwater, and Ocean. We continue our partnership with Generation Success to ensure our recruitment process is inclusive and accessible to all.
What you’ll be doing
As an International Conservation Intern, you’ll have the opportunity to explore how we work by supporting different teams. You’ll gain a variety of skills with full training and mentorship along the way. As well administrative assistance to support the smooth running of the organisation, your tasks may include:
- Media & Communications : Create digital content, social media posts, and blog posts
- Programmes: Researching conservation projects and writing briefs, conservation partner scoping.
- Philanthropy & Events: Learning how fundraising works, understanding donor engagement.

A past intern's experience
"Before this internship, I wasn’t sure conservation was for people like me. But Synchronicity Earth gave me the opportunity to explore this field in a way that made sense for me. I learned new skills, met inspiring people, and realised that my passion for making a difference could actually become a career." – Johnathon, 2024 Intern
