Responsibilities
Tikehau Capital is looking for a Compliance Intern to help carry out the compliance programme in the UK and internationally.
Your role will entail but not be limited to the following tasks:
- Conducting conflict checks on investment opportunities to manage potential conflicts of interest and advise business units on appropriate mitigation strategies,
- Ensuring employee compliance with policies related to personal account dealing, gifts and entertainment, and outside business activities,
- Maintaining meticulous records of compliance documentation, communications, and employee training, including follow-ups,
- Supporting adherence to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations by conducting Know-Your-Investment (KYI) and Know-Your-Customer (KYC) due diligence,
- Executing periodic compliance monitoring across various business activities,
- Contributing to global compliance projects and initiatives,
- Collaborating with global compliance teams on a range of tasks and responsibilities.
Profile
- A bachelor’s degree or master’s in Law, Regulation, Finance, or a related field, ideally,
- An interest in or knowledge of regulatory compliance, risk management, or financial services,
- Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint,
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English,
- Ability to develop relationships with key stakeholders,
- Integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately,
- Independent and good judgment in matters of significance,
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, small-team environment,
- Strong capabilities for research and problem-solving capabilities,
- A proactive and positive mentality,
- Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
For this position, we require candidates to have the right to work full time in the UK and with the availability for a minimum of 6 months.
