About Your Program
You’ll be joining the JD Young (JDY) Internship Program, designed to give early-career talent hands-on exposure to real projects, real responsibilities, and real growth. Over 3–6 months, you’ll work alongside experienced teams, build fundamental skills, and gain insights into how a global business operates.
Responsibilities Include:
- Assist in the acquisition and onboarding of international POP merchants, including merchant communication, document collection, and onboarding process follow-up.
- Support merchant acquisition and platform operations initiatives, including execution of onboarding plans and analysis of acquisition-related data.
- Assist in the daily operations of onboarded merchants, follow up on merchant inquiries, and help improve overall merchant experience.
- Support the preparation and maintenance of merchant onboarding and operations documentation, such as platform policies, operation guides, and FAQs.
- Monitor global e-commerce and cross-border industry trends and conduct market and competitor research.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Product, Risk Control, Legal, Logistics) to support merchant acquisition and operational projects.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree or above (currently enrolled); all majors are welcome, with preference for International Trade, E-commerce, Marketing, English, or related fields.
- Good written and reading proficiency in English; able to handle basic business communication and email correspondence (additional languages are a plus).
- Strong interest in cross-border e-commerce, international marketplaces, or merchant operations.
- Strong communication skills, high sense of responsibility, and attention to detail.
- Data-sensitive and proficient in Excel / Google Sheets and other office tools.
- Availability of at least 3–4 working days per week for a minimum of 3 months.
- Prior internship experience in cross-border e-commerce, merchant acquisition, or merchant operations.
- Familiarity with major international e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Shopee, Lazada, AliExpress, etc.
