About Simon-Kucher

Simon-Kucher is a global consultancy with more than 2,000 employees in 30+ countries. Our sole focus is on unlocking better growth that drives measurable revenue and profit for our clients. We optimize every lever of commercial strategy—product, price, innovation, marketing, and sales—based on deep insights into what customers want and value. With 40 years of experience, we are regarded as the world's leading pricing and growth specialist.

Internship Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to start your career in consulting as an Intern in our Life Sciences team. We will be hosting placements in October, November, and January.

What You Bring

  • A strong interest in Life Sciences
  • A strong academic background, including degree-level study at 2:1 or above
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High-percentile numerical, verbal, and inductive reasoning skills
  • A strong desire to work in a fast-paced, commercially agile environment
  • Enthusiasm, curiosity, and a belief that you can achieve the best results

We welcome candidates from a variety of undergraduate subject backgrounds. Life Sciences interns commonly have STEM or management backgrounds, but what you bring enables you to thrive and helps us grow. Exposure to consulting within a student society is not required, but you should clearly evidence your interest in commercial strategy and Life Sciences in your application. Our internships are predominantly aimed at undergraduate and master’s students or those starting out in their career.

What We Offer

This is a paid internship.

Simon-Kucher is growing, creating an entrepreneurial and inspiring work environment with significant responsibility and a steep learning curve. Internships are the main route we use to recruit entry-level Consultants to our London office, so strong performance as an intern can lead to a full-time opportunity.

Internships within Life Sciences typically last around 12 weeks and are designed to expose you to client project work. You can expect responsibility from the outset as a valued member of the project team, contribute to analysis and results, and benefit from working alongside experienced Consultants, Directors, and Partners.

How to Apply

  • Complete the required pre-screening questions, including motivation questions. Personalize your answers so we can get to know the real you. Applications without these responses will be considered incomplete.

Selection Process

  • Early-stage online selection test to demonstrate your numerical, verbal, and inductive reasoning skills
  • First-round Teams interview with the HR team
  • Final-round interview day at our London office in the week commencing 15th September

Key Dates

  • Placement timing: October, November, and January
  • Application deadline: 9am, Monday 18th August
  • Candidates will be contacted regarding next steps after the closing date
