Internship
Simon-Kucher is a global consultancy with more than 2,000 employees in 30+ countries. Our sole focus is on unlocking better growth that drives measurable revenue and profit for our clients. We achieve this by optimizing every lever of their commercial strategy—product, price, innovation, marketing, and sales—based on deep insights into what customers want and value. With 40 years of experience in monetization topics of all kinds, we are regarded as the world's leading pricing and growth specialist.
This is an exciting opportunity to start your career in consulting as an intern in our Life Sciences team. We will be hosting placements in October, November, and January.
What You Bring
- A strong interest in Life Sciences
- A strong academic background, including degree-level study at 2:1 or above
- Excellent communication skills
- High-percentile numerical, verbal, and inductive reasoning skills
- A strong desire to work in a fast-paced, commercially agile environment
- Enthusiasm, curiosity, and a belief that you can achieve the best results
We offer internships to candidates from a variety of undergraduate subject backgrounds, though it is more common for Life Sciences interns to have a STEM or management subject background—what you bring enables you to thrive and helps us to continue to grow. Exposure to consulting within a student society is not required, but you will need to evidence your interest in commercial strategy and Life Sciences clearly in your application. Our internships are predominantly aimed at undergraduate and master’s students or those starting out in their career.
What We Offer
This is a paid internship.
Simon-Kucher is growing, creating an entrepreneurial and inspiring work environment with significant responsibility and a steep learning curve. Internships are the main route we use to recruit entry-level Consultants to our London office, so strong performance during your internship can lead to an offer to continue your career with us.
Internships within Life Sciences usually last around 12 weeks and are designed to expose individuals to working on client projects. Interns can expect responsibility from the outset as valued members of the project team. Throughout your time at Simon-Kucher, you will contribute to analysis and results and benefit from working alongside experienced Consultants, Directors, and Partners.
How to Apply
- As part of your application, you will complete a set of pre-screening questions, including motivation questions. Personalize your answers so we can get to know the real you. Your application will be considered incomplete if you do not answer these questions.
- If your application progresses, expect an early-stage online selection test to demonstrate your numerical, verbal, and inductive reasoning skills, followed by a first-round interview with the HR team. A final round interview day will be hosted in our London office, week commencing 15th September.
- To be considered for the internship, please submit your application no later than 9am, Monday 18th August. We will not be contacting candidates regarding next steps prior to the closing date.
