Placement Co-ordinator
The Faculty of Health, Medicine and Society
The Faculty of Health, Medicine and Society is seeking to appoint a Placement Coordinator. The key duties and responsibilities of the role include:
Responsibilities
- To work proactively with the Faculty Registrar and Head of Practice Learning/Director of Partnerships to coordinate and promote activity which helps to deliver a high-quality student experience and shape continuous improvement.
- To lead in the management of placement allocation, including student exchange placements, to ensure capacity, quality and appropriateness of the student experience.
- To work proactively with the Faculty Registrar and to implement, enhance and develop processes, procedures and the use of data within the Faculty and across the University.
Qualifications
You will be educated to Degree standard or equivalent and have a good understanding of placement allocation. You will also have experience of providing high level administrative support.
Skills Required
This demanding role requires ICT proficiency, excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritise workloads and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
