We are looking for an enthusiastic Warehousing & Transportation Finance Placement Student to join our team specializing in Finance for our Corporate/CBS Segment in UK, Sandwich. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential! This role is available to candidates who qualify for a placement year and will commence Summer of 2026.

External Qualifications and Competencies

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Assist with finance close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and preparation of key reports; specific month-end tasks related to transportation.

• Contribute to the preparation and submission of reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Performing and reviewing reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and compliance; provide day-to-day assistance to the accounting team with various finance tasks and processes.

• Prepare analyses, reports, and special studies for management and interpret financial data by analyzing trends.

• Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure reporting requirements are met.

• Taking on new opportunities with a sense of urgency and enthusiasm.

Additional Responsibilities Unique to this Position

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• Working towards a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related subject.

• Excellent IT Skills, in particular Excel and Microsoft.

• Willingness to learn and contribute in a team environment, attention to detail with good organisational abilities.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, numerical and analytical skills.
