In this post you will support teaching and learning in our academic programmes working closely with the module lead(s).
About the Role
In this role, you will:
- Provide support to the module leads on the undergraduate BSc Psychology with Education or our postgraduate programmes
- Design and prepare teaching material within the overall module framework
- Support with marking duties on allocated modules
- Support the module lead in the weekly seminars and Moodle resources of the allocated modules
You will be given training in your role including:
- Support in developing teaching practice through seminar delivery and preparation
- Guidance relating to small group facilitation, marking, assessment and feedback
- Mandatory introductory UCL Arena One Gateway workshop
- The opportunity to enrol in the UCL Arena Fellowship programme
About You
You will have demonstratable sound knowledge in a subject area relevant to the module(s) to be supported, together with the ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing, with students, academic and support staff at all levels. We particularly welcome those with excellent working knowledge of R.
Please be aware that you can only be employed up to 180 hours in total as a PGTA across all UCL programmes. If you are already working as a PGTA on another UCL or UCL IOE programme then we will not be able to appoint you to one of our positions. If appointed, you will not be able to work as a PGTA on another programme.
This post is open to UCL students only.
