Role description
About Wolt
At Wolt, we create technology that brings joy, simplicity and earnings to the neighborhoods of the world. In 2014 we started with the delivery of restaurant food. Now we're building the delivery of (almost) everything and you'll find us in over 500 cities in 30 countries around the world. In 2022 we joined forces with DoorDash and together we keep on dreaming big and expanding across the globe.
Working at Wolt isn't always easy, but it's definitely exciting. Here you'll learn more, build more, and ship more than in most other companies. You'll be challenged a lot, but also have a lot of fun on the way. So, if you're a self-starter with drive and entrepreneurial spirit, this could be the ride of your life.
Role Background
Wolt's Internships & Emerging Talent Programme plays a critical role in building our future talent pipeline and supporting long-term workforce sustainability. The programme spans multiple countries and functions and is designed to attract, develop and convert early-career talent into impactful, long-term contributors to the business.
We are now looking for a Programme Manager to lead the end-to-end strategy, delivery and development of our Internships and Emerging Talent initiatives. This role sits at the intersection of programme ownership, stakeholder partnership and data-informed decision making, and requires someone who can operate with a high degree of autonomy while driving meaningful outcomes and delivering themselves.
As Programme Manager, you will own the strategy and delivery of the Internships Programme with its own key results and deliverables, and act as a thought partner to stakeholders on how we design, test, track and scale early-career programmes internationally.
What you'll be doing
Programme Strategy & Ownership
- Own the end-to-end design, delivery, and evolution of the programme across multiple functions and geographies.
- Define programme scope, success measures, and delivery plans aligned to business and workforce needs.
- Proactively identify gaps, risks, or opportunities within the programme and design new approaches to address them.
Delivery & Execution
- Lead complex, cross-functional workstreams with minimal guidance, ensuring high-quality outcomes and reliable delivery.
- Select and adapt appropriate methods, frameworks, and processes for new or ambiguous initiatives where there may be no clear precedent.
- Balance data, insight, and practical judgement to make decisions when information is incomplete or still emerging.
Data, Insights & Performance
- Take a data-informed approach to structuring problems and articulating the "why" behind programme decisions.
- Define how programme performance is tested, tracked, and evaluated, using both quantitative metrics and qualitative insight.
- Analyse trends and less tangible factors to inform recommendations, trade-offs, and future programme direction.
Stakeholder & Network Management
- Act as a trusted partner to stakeholders across People, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and the wider business.
- Build and maintain formal cross-functional networks to enable coordination, alignment, and shared ownership.
- Provide clear, accessible updates on programme performance, risks, and outcomes, adapting communication for different audiences.
Leadership & Mentoring
- Support the growth and development of more junior team members through mentoring and coaching.
- Contribute as a thought leader within the Emerging Talent space, sharing learnings and raising the bar for programme quality and impact.
- Model inclusive, collaborative ways of working across teams and partners.
What we're looking for
- Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver Campus programmes or initiatives with measurable outcomes.
- Experience working across functions and influencing without direct authority.
- Strong problem-structuring and analytical skills, alongside the ability to evaluate situations that require judgement beyond data alone.
- Comfort making independent decisions on approaches, methods, and success criteria.
- Ability to work effectively in environments with ambiguity, change, and competing priorities.
- Clear, thoughtful communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Enjoys working in an international, collaborative environment.
- Experience managing and delivering through RPO beneficial.
Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion
We're committed to growing and empowering a more inclusive community within our company, industry, and cities. That's why we hire and cultivate diverse teams of people from all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. We believe that true innovation happens when everyone has room at the table and the tools, resources, and opportunity to excel.
