Change, Supply Chain and Operations (CSCO) sit within Sky’s Operations business and are the driving force behind Sky’s customer facing business. CSCO is a department made up of four key directorates:

  • Billing – Our billing team work to ensure we bill our customers and our business partners accurately and ensure our billing processes are in line with laws and regulations
  • Change Delivery – Our change team deliver change to the business at pace, taking ideas such as launching a new product or proposition and helping them become a reality.
  • Compliance & Fraud – Our compliance and fraud teams help to keep our customers safe and make sure that Sky operates within our industry laws and regulations
  • Supply Chain – Our supply chain team work with partners across the globe to plan, source, make and deliver products to our Sky customers and engineers.

We’re made up of around 600 people working across England and Scotland with some of our team working across the world to support of our global supply chain.

About this programme

On this two-year programme, you’ll work at pace on high-profile projects, working with senior decision makers and experts around the business. You’ll feel a huge sense of achievement contributing to the delivery of large-scale change for the business, our people and our customers. Over the course of the two years, you’ll learn both project management and analysis skills, giving you a well-rounded toolkit of skills in project delivery.

In CSCO we are passionate about growth and development. In this role you’ll be given the
following support and development opportunities:

  • Buddy support for the first 12 months in your new role. Your buddy will support you as you learn more about the business and your role.
  • In person Subject Matter Expert courses covering all aspects of project delivery and methodology
  • Access to an extensive suite of in-house training on softer skills development.

What you’ll be doing

As a project delivery graduate in our team, you’ll work alongside stakeholders from across our customer-facing business to support and deliver projects to improve the way that Sky work or the experience for our customers. This might include:

  • Delivering some of the biggest customer-facing changes at Sky on projects that impact our colleagues in contact centres, compliance, retail stores and engineers. These might be new pricing and packaging changes, a change to the way we serve our customers or managing changes enforced by our regulators
  • Working with our supply chain teams to build and improve business processes to make our business more efficient, sustainable and/or to manage changes requested by our suppliers
  • Delivering new projects that impact our supply chain teams, such as managing the changing of suppliers, introduction of new business systems and managing the introduction of new products into Sky’s business, for example Sky Broadband hubs, Sky Glass and Sky Stream
  • Working with our Billing team to introduce and maintain business processes in relation to how we bill our customers for our products and services or how we bill our partner companies (for example broadband Network providers)

Through this work you’ll build skills in project management and analysis, including:

  • Building project plans, making sure everything runs to schedule, to the agreed budget and to the commercial and business objectives
  • Creating and maintaining project governance – regular meetings and status reports, managing risks and issues and use clear communication to ensure all teams are aligned on the status of a project
  • Owning and managing project artefacts such as project plans, risk & issue logs, action logs and stakeholder maps
  • Providing support through all the stages of a project; including identifying stakeholders and maintaining strong relationships with them through the project, defining project scope and understanding the impacts of change
  • Representing our customer facing colleagues and working with other analysts across the business to ensure all stakeholder perspectives and requirements are understood
  • Documenting how business processes currently work and will change as part of a project
  • Documenting the requirements of our business stakeholders for a change we’re implementing
  • Working closely with our operational teams (such as contact centre teams, engineers or teams managing our supply chain) to ensure they are ready for project changes to happen.

Education : You have or will be graduating soon with an undergraduate degree in any field.

Other skills you may have include:

  • a natural collaborator. You’ll love bringing people together and working with them to find all the pieces of the puzzle and delivering a solution that works for everyone. You’ll be bringing some amazing products to the market, so you’ll need to have a passion for delivering excellence for our customers.
  • comfortable building and managing relationships with stakeholders at all levels and can communicate with confidence. Working with so many people across the business,this is a perfect role to build your personal brand. Overall, you’ll have a drive and ambition to believe in better – for yourself, your team, the business and our customers.

Your application journey

  • Step 1 – Submit your application.

    We’ll be asking for your personal details, academic information and anything else that you think would be relevant such as work experience.

    Once your application has been submitted, you’ll be invited to complete our immersive digital assessments. This may land in your junk folder so don’t forget to check it.
  • Step 2 – Complete our two online digital assessments.

    These look at your Sky match and your business match based on the programme you’ve applied to. You’ll also have the opportunity to practice each of these assessments beforehand, so please read our email instructions carefully. We’ve added some tips to help you along the way.

    This dedicated practice zone will give you an insight into what our assessment process is like. You’ll discover your values, the type of work you may be suited to and your preferred learning styles.
  • Step 3 – Attend our virtual assessment centre

    For the final stage, we’ll invite you to our virtual assessment centre and give you some tasks to get to know you better. The day will give you a practical insight into what it’s like to work as a Business Analyst and will assess your aptitude for this programme.

    Once you’ve completed your assessment day, we’ll let you know when you can expect to hear back from us.

Where you'll work:

Our teams work in a hybrid working pattern. This means they typically spend 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home over the working week with set office days to maximise the face time spent with the team.

Osterley:

Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There’s also plenty of bike shelters and showers.

On campus, you’ll find 13 subsidised restaurants, cafes, and a Waitrose. You can keep in shape at our subsidised gym, catch the latest shows and movies at our cinema, get your car washed and even get pampered at our beauty salon.

Livingston:

Our vibrant campus is a free shuttle bus away from Livingston South train station and the town centre. Plus, there’s onsite parking available for cars, motorbikes and bicycles.
