Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive individual to join our office-based team.  This unique role is a springboard into the field of contemporary furniture design, production and development as the support assistant to our buying team.  The position incorporates the maintenance of our digital product catalogue, researching market trends and developing new products, collaborating with partners both in the UK and Vietnam, alongside the coordination of our international freight logistics.  You will use spreadsheets extensively to create price lists, presentations, and production tracking documents while working closely with freight forwarders and our Vietnam-based team to ensure smooth shipping and production schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with market research and product development
  • Maintain and manage a digital asset library of product and promotional images
  • Work closely with photographers, CGI companies, and use AI software to produce compelling product imagery
  • Work with our sales team and customers to develop bespoke & own brand products
  • Use spreadsheets daily for price lists, production tracking, and presentations
  • Coordinate with our Vietnam team to monitor the production process
  • Communicate with freight forwarders to manage shipping logistics
  • Occasional off-site and on-site meetings, product development, or supplier visits

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Recent graduate-level education
  • GCSE Maths at a minimum grade 7 (or equivalent)
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills especially Excel, able to use formulas, pivot tables and data tracking tools.  A meticulous attention to detail
  • A great, analytical mind.
  • An interest in visual media and its use in promotion and branding
  • Collaborative mindset with confident communication skills
  • Enthusiastic about learning and adapting in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel if needed
