Quality Control Technician

We are looking for a candidate to join our expanding Quality Control team to work on a variety of applications.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct routine analysis on raw materials, intermediates, and production batches throughout the manufacturing process in a timely manner.
• Ensuring maximum achievable quality by ensuring these, materials adhere to stipulated control parameters.
• Inputting data of measurements and results within quality records.
• Recognise trends within data records and producing reports regarding these trends.
• Liaising regularly with the R&D + Production departments regarding the quality of our materials.
• Maintaining organisation of data records, reference standards, procedures within the Quality department.
• Work closely with the Quality Assurance Manager to help develop and implement procedures to improve Quality, efficiency, and organisation within Torrecid UK – Surcotech Ltd.

This role is based in our Newent, Gloucestershire site.

Candidate profile:

• Graduate in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
• Good communication and teamwork skills
