Then apply for our Software Developer Internship at our P&G office in Newcastle, where you’ll play a key role in designing, building, and supporting best-in-class IT solutions. On this placement, you will be responsible for developing the front end of innovative applications. You’ll focus on creating an optimal user experience for product design, development and testing, while emphasising a data-first architecture that maximises adaptability and integrates seamlessly with essential systems.
What to Expect:
During your year-long placement you will get a first-hand experience of what a career in software development with P&G involves, and if it is right for you. You will be working on live business projects and expected to dive straight in and take the lead. During your projects you can expect to:

Assist in building and maintaining data pipelines and data transformation workflows using Databricks.

Support the development of interactive dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions using Power BI.

Contribute to the design and development of AI-driven solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio and Agentic AI frameworks.

Participate in data engineering, analytics, and AI development projects alongside senior team members.

Support testing, troubleshooting, and optimisation of data.

Qualifications:

University students studying Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field graduating in 2028 with a placement year as part of their degree. We also welcome applications from students who are graduating in 2026, or who have already graduated.

Effective analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
