About the Company
Vega is unlocking scale for alternative asset managers. Private markets are shaping into one of the most influential forces in the global economy over the coming decades, with more than $20 trillion in AuM today and expected to already triple by 2032. Today, the industry is at an inflection point as it enters an era of hyper-growth, increased complexity, and brand-new demands. To competitively service and scale their client base across the entire investment lifecycle, managers need a technological transformation. Vega is delivering the industry's purpose-built infrastructure with AltOS – the AI-powered client & distribution operating system for alternatives.
Vega's founding team consists of alternatives specialists from KKR, Blackstone, Elliott, and Goldman Sachs, along with top product and engineering talent from successful fintech scale-ups like Revolut and Trade Republic. Vega has raised over $28M in funding from Apollo, Motive Ventures, Picus Capital, and 60 senior executives from the alternative investment industry.
The Role
The Strategy and Growth Internship is a rare opportunity to work at the very centre of Vega, directly supporting the CEO and the Head of Strategy and Growth as we enter our most consequential phase of growth.
The role is designed for someone who might also be considering a role in banking, investing or MBB consulting, but instead wants a front-row seat at a hyper-growth start-up.
Responsibilities
- Support the CEO office with the end-to-end GTM process, from relationship-building to closing the deal
- Work across special projects, operations, investor relations, and wider growth topics (e.g., supporting the opening of our New York office, developing Vega's brand and industry relationships through events)
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from top-tier university
- You are high-agency, high-urgency, and take ownership instinctively – you don't wait to be told what to do
- Self-starter with proven track record of excellence
- Outstanding communication and analytical skills, including with senior external stakeholders
