Student Ambassador – targetjobs 

  • Location: University Campus
  • Pay: £12.50 / hour (bonus available)
  • Type: Part-time, Flexible Hours 

About the Role 

targetjobs is looking for enthusiastic and proactive Student Ambassadors to join our dynamic Student Success team. As a Student Ambassador, you’ll play a key role in promoting exciting opportunities such as summer internships, graduate schemes, and part-time roles to fellow students.

You can choose to take on one or both of the following roles:

  • On-Ground Ambassador: Engage directly with students on campus, encouraging them to sign up to opportunities via targetjobs and explore career opportunities across several brand campaigns.
  • Digital Engagement Ambassador: Support digital LinkedIn message campaigns, encourage students to apply via follow up InMail messages, and nurture warm leads with follow-up phone calls. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out promotional activities on campus to raise awareness brand specific early career opportunities like graduate roles, internships, and vacation schemes. (on ground ambassadors only)
  • Utilise LinkedIn to share information about roles and nurture those leads with follow-up messages.
  • Increase conversion opportunity by following up via calls with your warm leads.
  • Gather feedback from students and provide insights and reports to the Student Success team.
  • Collaborate with clubs and societies to raise awareness of brands working with targetjobs if needed.
  • Work towards objectives and targets set by targetjobs.

  • Excellent communication skills: confident in speaking to individuals and groups.
  • Outgoing and approachable: a natural networker who enjoys meeting new people.
  • Self-motivated and reliable: able to manage your own time and tasks effectively.
  • Digitally savvy: comfortable using social media and online platforms (for digital role).
  • Flexible availability: able to work around your academic schedule.
  • Willingness to travel: occasional travel to nearby campuses or events may be required.
  • Passion for student development: – excited about helping peers discover career opportunities.
  • Right to Work: Have the Right to Work in the UK
