Student Business Analyst -13 month placement

Are you passionate about transforming data into meaningful insights that influence real business decisions? We’re looking for a Student Business Analyst to join us on a 13-month placement, where you’ll play a key role in supporting major initiatives across Revenue Management, Sales & Distribution, and Marketing.

What You'll Be Doing

• Analysing and reporting on revenue, volume, overcrowding, and distribution trends across the network.
• Manipulating and interpreting large datasets to produce clear, actionable insights for commercial stakeholders.
• Building robust business cases and business models to predict the impact of upcoming changes and initiatives.
• Clearly communicating trends, insights, and recommendations to colleagues at all levels across the organisation.
• Supporting key initiatives within the Commercial team by delivering accurate and timely analytical outputs.
• Assessing and interpreting the effects of key changes to help inform future commercial and strategic decisions.

What You'll Bring

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and turn it into meaningful insight.
• Confidence in presenting findings and recommendations in a clear, engaging way.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently with large datasets.
• Experience using analytical tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, SQL, or similar) is desirable.
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to support colleagues across multiple departments.

Eligibility Criteria

• Be a university student undertaking a year-long placement before your final year of study.
• Be on track to achieve a 2:1 or above in your degree.
• Hold a grade B or above in A-level Maths.
