You can apply to become an Affiliate for free for the duration of your studies if you are:

An apprentice or studying engineering at college

An undergraduate student studying a STEM degree
If you have an keen interest in engineering, but not a qualification, you can apply to become an Affiliate.
How much does it cost?
Application fee
There is no application fee or annual subscription charge for undergraduate students studying a STEM degree and apprentices.

Undergraduate students (eg BEng, integrated MEng)
If you're studying for your first degree in a STEM subject (full-time, part-time or sandwich) you can apply online or complete a PDF application form along with any other supporting documents.
