This role will act as the assistant representative of the owner family office across the full spectrum of the superyacht’s operation. On top of serving as the connection between the family office and the crew, this role is expected to assist the existing management team on the daily operation, financial control, and compliance.
Location:
Based in London office but the frequent and regular travel to the superyacht is required. The location of the superyacht will depend on the plan of the family office.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the existing management team regarding the full spectrum of the superyacht daily operation including HR, admin, compliance, and financial control.
- Provide analysis on the superyacht financial data. Assist with monthly budgeting and provide monthly audit.
- Assist the existing management team on the annual maintenance, refit plan, and additional engineering tasks onboard. On-site monitoring is required during the shipyard period.
- Establish a clear communication channel between the family office and crew by providing the weekly operation/financial report to the family office, organising bi-weekly meetings between the family office and the crew, and raising timely alert when a potential red flag is spotted.
Requirements:
- Experience in the superyacht operation is preferred.
- Accounting background is preferred.
- Experience in the high net worth service industry is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skill and is able to communicate efficiently with multiple parties including the family office, captain, senior and junior crew members.
