Supply Chain Graduate
Imagine contributing to projects that help move millions of people every day?
At Siemens Mobility, we're developing innovative transport solutions that are transforming the future of rail and making travel more sustainable. Start your career at the heart of that journey!
Are you an ambitious final year undergraduate looking for a unique graduate programme?
Join a two-year graduate journey that combines hands-on experience with structured development. Through technical and professional training, graduate workshops, mentoring and leadership exposure, you'll build your skills while working on meaningful projects. You'll collaborate with fellow graduates across the business, present your achievements and deliver a Business Impact Project with real business value, developing the confidence, experience and connections needed to accelerate your career at Siemens Mobility.
Siemens Mobility is a global market leader in rail infrastructure, shaping the future of transportation through cutting‑edge technology, digital innovation, and sustainable engineering. As part of our Rail Infrastructure business, you’ll join a team that is transforming how people and goods move, making rail travel safer, smarter, greener, and more efficient.
Year 1: Three 4-month rotations across key functions, starting with one month in your home team.
Year 2: Transition into your substantive team to develop deeper expertise and prepare for your role beyond the graduate programme. Note - Some business areas may continue rotations in Year 2.
As a buying professional you’ll make a difference by:
-
Driving Ethical & Bottom-Line Savings: You will lead commercial negotiations to secure cost-efficient material pricing, actively aligning procurement choices with ethical supply chain practices to drive responsible business profitability.
-
Optimising Sustainable Supplier & Inventory Networks: You will manage the end-to-end supplier lifecycle from qualification to evaluation, whilst simultaneously streamlining inventory control to minimise waste and ensure on-time material availability.
-
Enforcing Process Governance via SAP: You will leverage SAP ERP systems to champion globally defined procurement methods, maintaining high process compliance and maximising efficiency across the entire eco-friendly Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) workflow.
What you’ll need to succeed:
We are seeking innovative and inquisitive candidates that demonstrate the following;
-
Achieved or be on track to achieve a 2:2 or above in a commercial or Business degree
-
Logical thinking, willing to self-learn and research, and take a creative approach to problem solving
