Teach in Hong Kong - Primary English, public speaking, UK school prep

We are looking for enthusiastic UK graduates who want to spend a year teaching in Hong Kong You will join our team to prepare our students for entry to UK day and boarding schools at 11+ or 13+, and teach public speaking to our students between the ages of 6 - 14.

We teach individuals and small groups in our own centre and in a local international school. We work as a closely-knit team to ensure that our students grow in confidence and excel. During the holidays, we run longer summer courses.

You will be primarily teaching English (not ESL - UK curriculum), Y6 pre-test preparation and our interest classes (which include D & D, junior law and Horrible Histories!). Depending on your background, you could also be teaching science, maths or other subjects you have an interest in to individuals and small groups. We all teach debate and public speaking at a local international school.

We provide full training, support and Chinese lessons if you are interested!

We are looking for applicants who have experience teaching/tutoring, have some experience with public speaking or debating, are innovative, creative and self-motivated. You will spend your days planning and delivering lessons, communicating with parents and working with fellow members of staff to develop high-quality lessons.

When you decide to come to Hong Kong, we will be able to advise on accommodation choices and help you to settle in. You'll be joining our team of five teachers - we are all from the UK. We will also help with visa applications and the immigration process.
