Teach Lead Change

This is a leadership programme like no other.

Gain the skills, knowledge and experience to become a true leader. Starting where it matters most – the classroom.

About the role

For over twenty years, Teach First has been training and developing brilliant teachers and leaders, placing them in schools across the country to give children living in poverty the education they deserve.

Teach Lead Change is our one-of-a-kind leadership programme.

You’ll be challenged, stretched and come away with the capabilities, confidence and connections to set you up for life.

Your journey begins with five weeks of intensive training and in-school experience, preparing you to start teaching in the classroom from September. You’ll be employed by the same school for the two years of the programme. With constant support from Teach First as well as your in-school mentor.

You’ll also be paid, and have access to a range of opportunities and networks to enhance your training.

• Future-proof your career with sought-after leadership skills.

• Gain hands-on experience in the classroom.

• Develop the capabilities and experience that’ll help you progress quickly.

• Join a movement of teachers and leaders working towards a better future.

• Make a difference in the lives of children facing disadvantage.

Our training has been rated as outstanding by Ofsted. And we’re proud to be ranked in the top 20 of The Times Top 100 Graduate Employers.
