Joining our Technology Risk Assurance & Advisory team

What is Technology Risk?

Organisations are increasingly using technology to drive innovation, efficiency, and transformation. With these opportunities come risks. Our Technology Risk team helps clients navigate the challenges of digitalisation, cyber security, data governance, and IT assurance. We also lead internal automation projects to improve how we work.

Your role in Technology Risk Assurance & Advisory

  • Assess IT environments including network security, disaster recovery, cloud, change management, and governance.

  • Support clients during major transformation programmes and provide independent assurance to boards.

  • Review technology capabilities in organisations undergoing acquisition, restructuring, or digital investment.

  • Evaluate cyber maturity against best practice standards, including those from the National Cyber Security Centre.

  • Contribute to internal automation and tool development projects that improve business efficiency.

  • Work across service areas including Internal IT Audit, IT Advisory, Data Analytics, External IT Audit, Data Privacy, Cyber Security, and SOC/3rd Party Assurances.

Your Training & Support

You’ll receive structured training in technology risk, cyber security, and IT assurance. You’ll be supported by experienced professionals and work on real client engagements from day one.

You’ll build skills in risk assessment, data analysis, reporting, and stakeholder communication, with access to digital tools and guidance from our tech specialists.

Qualifications

Successful candidates will discuss with their line manager the path they take with the options including ISACA foundation based qualifications in IT audit, cloud security and cyber security and CISA.
