About the Internship

Are you looking for a summer 2026 UX Research internship? Calling all aspiring UX Researchers! Join our Engineering Development Group and get ready for a hands-on experience in a friendly and innovative environment. As an intern, you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact by contributing to a UX research project based on your interests and skillset. Together, we'll push the boundaries of engineering and science.

During your time with us, you'll have the opportunity to further develop your knowledge of UX Research and software engineering. You'll also develop foundational professional skills such as effective communication, problem-solving, and time management.

Responsibilities

As a UX Research intern, you will:

  • Conduct user research and analyze user workflows to inform product strategy and direction.
  • Execute a variety of qualitative and quantitative research methods such as, but not limited to, user interviews, surveys, usability testing, and card sorting.
  • Act as an advocate for our technical users by identifying user pains and providing research-based recommendations for design decisions.
  • Help the Development team interpret and understand user feedback and contribute to requirements and design documents.
  • Research and showcase knowledge in current industry trends and technologies.

Qualifications

  • STEM Degree (e.g., Design Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Psychology, Human Computer Interaction, or other relevant degree).
  • Knowledge of user-centered design, UX research methods, human-computer interaction research (HCI), or experimental design.
  • Experience with research and collaboration tools (e.g., Optimal Workshop, Miro).
  • Programming experience in any programming language is a plus (e.g., MATLAB, R, Python, C++, Java, JS, etc.).
  • 3 months full-time commitment.
  • Candidates must be pursuing a master's level or a PhD level degree in a technical discipline.
