• Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Flexible start, Mon–Thurs 9–3, Fri 9–11)

About the Role

Are you a proactive individual looking for an exciting opportunity to kick-start your career within a global organization? We’re seeking Warehouse Interns to join a dynamic team within the engineering/manufacturing sector. This is a fantastic chance to gain hands-on experience across multiple departments, supporting Logistics, Goods-In/Out, Supply Chain, and Planning teams for a busy manufacturing centre in the heart of Barrow-in-Furness.

Responsibilities

• Support the Logistics and Planning teams with supply chain projects and warehouse activities.
• Coordinate with shop floor teams to ensure smooth production processes.
• Work under the guidance of experienced professionals, gaining exposure to planning, project management, and supply chain.
• Compile reports, chase deliverables, and maintain project timelines.

What You Bring

• A vocational qualification in a relevant subject is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to work closely with both shop floor teams and senior management.
• A proactive attitude, with the ability to think quickly and adapt to changing project needs.

Please Note

• This role is based on-site in Barrow-in-Furness. Candidates must be willing to relocate for the duration of the internship.
• While no relocation support is provided, SLB can assist with local contacts and onboarding advice.
