Gateley is a professional services group which combines technical expertise with service excellence.
Who We Are
We’re Gateley – a forward‑thinking, straight‑talking legal and professional services group. We bring together legal services, building advisory, leadership consultancy and IP expertise under one roof, which means our people get early exposure to a broad range of work and perspectives. As the UK’s first listed law firm, we do things a little differently – with transparency, shared success and real insight into how our business performs and grows. Starting your career at Gateley means more than learning your role; it means being trusted, supported and encouraged to shape your future from day one, in a business where your contribution is visible and genuinely valued.
Our Cultures and Values
Our values define us
The way we behave as a business is captured in our Gateley Team Spirit. These values underpin how we work within Gateley and with the clients, suppliers and professional intermediaries that we work with every day.
Equity, diversity and inclusion:
Diversity remains a key ambition of our Group, not only in the services that we offer but in the people that we employ and the clients that we work with. We are better advisers to our clients because of the diversity of experiences and skills that our people bring. Diversity is about different perspectives and extends beyond gender and ethnicity, to sexual orientation, gender identity, social mobility, disability, and other challenges that can lead to disadvantage. As a Group which was formed with diversity at its core, we are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workforce where everyone has room to breathe and can bring their whole selves to work. Gateley values the differences that a diverse workforce can bring.
Our Community Groups
To ensure we create a sense of belonging and a culture where everyone can be themselves, we have created community groups within Gateley to support our people. These internal communities create a safe place of debate where people can learn from each other, educate each other and celebrate our differences.
Ability
Ability is our network group which supports employees with disabilities and raises awareness around neurodiversity. Ability has been established to provide a welcoming, supportive and confidential space for colleagues on issues of disability and raise awareness of disability-related issues across the Group.
Pride
Pride Supports our LGBTQ+ community, raising awareness across our business and collaborating with related external groups and networks. It provides a welcoming, supportive, safe and confidential space for staff affected by sexual orientation and gender identity issues and is a place where they can share experiences, ideas or concerns.
Unity
Recognises, celebrates, and supports people from different cultures, religions and backgrounds. Unity is all about being comfortable to bring your whole self to work including all the things that make you unique.
