Who we are
WSP is a multi-disciplinary professional services consulting firm which provides engineering, planning, design and strategic advisory services across the built and natural environments. We have over 9,500 technical specialists in the UK, and over 67,000 staff globally.
Students and graduates can apply to join WSP’s graduate programme in the following sectors: transportation and infrastructure, property and buildings, earth and environment, power, energy, water resources, planning and industry sectors, as well as strategic advisory.
We are open to applicants from all engineering, sciences, environmental, Planning, digital, data, STEM degrees, economics, business and finance backgrounds. New graduates will be based in one of WSP’s 34 regional offices in the UK. Graduates working towards chartered status are financially supported and provided with a professionally registered mentor for guidance.
The WSP two-year graduate development programme is a combination of business, technical and personal skills training opportunities, supporting graduates to excel early in their career. As well as allowing them to engage in initiatives and projects that shape the future and create a lasting impact on communities and the planet. All our graduates are set up to succeed and receive support to enable them to progress in their career.
Placement opportunities are also available with 8–12-week paid internships from June to August, and 12-month industrial placements beginning in August or September. Students will work on a range of projects and obtain real industry experience during their placement. Upon successful completion, students may go on to be sponsored via the scholarship programme and return to WSP upon graduation.
