Company Overview

Nedgroup Investments is a global asset management firm with offices in London, South Africa and the Isle of Man. Nedgroup Investments currently has USD$25 billion in assets under management.

The growth of Nedgroup Investments over the past 20+ years has been driven by our client-centric investment-led approach, which ensures that we understand the needs and preferences of our clients and deliver solutions that meet their expectations. The business continues to grow in response to client needs and this evolution has led to the acceleration of presence in Europe and the launch of in-house investment boutiques, the first of which was Palomar Fixed Income, launched in 2023.

The boutique advantage

At Nedgroup Investments we believe everyone should benefit from the difference that the best boutiques bring. As an investment-led business, we are dedicated to finding exceptional fund managers and providing the right conditions for them to perform. We foster long-term relationships to enable managers and teams to flourish over the long-term offering our clients more choice, better access and alignment with their investments.

Deeply embedded culture

Nedgroup Investments has, over decades, fostered a deeply embedded culture based on a ‘founder’s mentality’, where employees are intrinsically invested in the growth of the organisation and act as owners, not just managers. We believe that this culture enables us to attract and retain talented and passionate people, who are committed to delivering superior performance and service to our clients.

It is the reflection of these values and this cultural fit that we look for in all in our employee and our partner relationships.

To be successful, we foster a diverse, connected, collaborative culture that encourages different ways of thinking and differentiated insights. We embrace innovation to address increasingly complex investment challenges. We realize that it's our people who give us a competitive advantage and drive success in the market, so investing in the next generation of professionals is our priority. We want to empower you which is why we offer training, and a culture of mentorship and mobility, so you can cultivate the tools you need to build your career. If you're passionate, driven and ready to develop new ideas, we want to help you challenge your limits.

History and governance

Nedgroup Investments is a wholly owned subsidiary of Nedbank, one of South Africa’s largest and longest standing banking groups. Nedbank’s history traces back to the early 19th century with the establishment of the Cape of Good Hope Bank in 1831.
