Purpose
As a Junior Risk Analyst, you will support the Head of Operational Risk and the wider Group Risk Function in delivering and embedding the Risk Management Framework across the organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or school leaver to join a dynamic and innovative team with significant opportunities for learning, growth, and development.

Responsibilities

Support delivery of the Risk Plan and schedule of work.
-
Represent Group Risk in meetings and forums as required.
-
Manage and maintain team mailboxes, ensuring timely and effective responses.
-
Support the maintenance, development, and enhancement of Risk Tools, including providing training where needed.
-
Assist with the preparation and delivery of meaningful, accurate, and insightful risk reporting.
-
Support and constructively challenge the business in the identification, measurement, management, monitoring, and reporting of risks.
-
Work collaboratively with the Group Risk Function to help embed the Risk Management Framework across the organisation.
-
Contribute to wider initiatives across the Risk & Compliance teams where appropriate.
-
Always adhere to all applicable compliance and regulatory expectations.

Other responsibilities as reasonably required by your line manager or the Group Risk leadership team.
Qualifications

Interest in financial services industry.
-
Awareness of compliance and regulatory initiatives would be beneficial.
Skills

Ability to work proactively and use own initiative.

Enthusiastic approach and willingness to take ownership.

Great team player with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
-
Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail.
-
Broad business understanding and appetite to develop knowledge of 7IM’s business.

Ability to assimilate and understand new information and datasets.

High IT literacy, including good Excel skills.
-
Clear written and verbal communication skills, with experience in report writing.

Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
-
Ability to communicate appropriately at all levels, including Executive Committee level.

High process discipline and great attention to detail.
-
Knowledge of Power BI or AI concepts would be an advantage.
