Mini-pupillage overview:
Mini-pupils generally spend three days in chambers. The aim is for you to experience the range of work covered by chambers, and mini-pupils can expect to accompany barristers to court and sit in on their cases and conferences.
Virtual Advocacy Exercise
In addition to spending time in Chambers, all mini-pupils will be invited to attend a one-day remote experience (by Zoom video-link) in which they will have the opportunity to participate in a mock court exercise and a Q&A session with members of chambers.
The virtual experience will take place on 3 occasions each year. Successful applicants will be given details of the next date when informed of the outcome of their application.
Attendance at the virtual remote experience is optional and not a requirement for those wishing to undertake a mini-pupillage with QEB.
Dates:
Applications received between 1st July and 30th October each year will be considered for mini pupillage in the following January, February, and March.
