About the Programme

Every summer, we welcome a cohort of Interns into Montagu Evans to gain hands-on experience at a leading, independent property consultancy.

Our paid four-week Summer Internship Programme is designed for students who are passionate about the built environment and keen to explore a career in real estate, planning or development. The programme offers meaningful exposure to live projects, expert teams, and the culture that defines Montagu Evans.

The internship is aimed at students studying an RICS-accredited Real Estate degree or an RTPI-accredited Planning degree, or those preparing to undertake an accredited Masters. It provides a strong foundation for those considering applying to our Graduate Programme in the future.

Eligibility

You must be:

  • In your penultimate or final year of an RICS-accredited Real Estate or RTPI-accredited Planning degree, or
  • Planning to undertake an RICS or RTPI-accredited Masters

You must also have the right to work in the UK for the duration of the programme.

The Role

As a Summer Intern, you will work alongside experienced professionals and contribute to real client work.

Depending on your pathway, you will:

Surveying

  • Rotate across advisory and transactional teams
  • Support live client instructions, market research, and data analysis
  • Attend site visits, inspections, and client meetings

Planning

  • Join our specialist Planning department
  • Support planning applications, site assessments, and development projects
  • Develop a practical understanding of how planning policy and decision-making shape places

All interns will:

  • Take part in structured learning sessions and Q&As with senior leaders
  • Build commercial awareness and technical understanding
  • Work in teams on a group project, presenting at the end of the programme

  • Dates: Monday 6th July - Friday 31st July 2026
  • Location: London Head Office
  • Working pattern: Office-based
  • Equipment: Laptop provided
