Prime Purpose of Role

The jobholder will work within the operations team and will be responsible for supporting all aspects of investment operations administration and transfer agency oversight.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop a good understanding of the operating processes for all accounts.

  • Overseeing cash and stock reconciliations on a daily basis and performing adjustments to accounting or escalating to custodians as necessary.

  • Oversight of the outsourced middle and back-office functions.

  • Production of daily live portfolio valuations for Fund Managers, working closely with the teams to provide operational and analytical support where needed.

  • Investigation and resolution of mismatched and failing trades, liaising with the Traders to resolve any issues.

  • Oversight and instructing of corporate actions.

  • Investigation of overdrawn positions and instructing FXs where required.

  • Ensuring proxy votes are placed as instructed by Fund Managers ahead of deadlines.

  • Oversight of regulatory transaction reporting including EMIR.

  • Providing both regular and ad hoc portfolio and firm-level reporting to Fund Managers, Client Experience, Sales, Marketing, and other interested parties.

  • Resolution of any queries or issues that arise in relation to Operations, and escalating issues where necessary.

  • Assisting with client on/offboarding.

  • Oversee daily cashflows across all fund ranges and produce accurate daily, monthly and quarterly sales figures for Finance and Sales

  • Overseeing and updating rebates and trailer fees, ensuring they are set up correctly with Transfer Agent

  • Act as a primary day-to-day contact with Northern Trust, maintaining a constructive and transparent working relationship to support smooth operational delivery.

  • Review and oversee change requests initiated by Northern Trust (e.g., system upgrades, process changes, new service offerings), ensuring proper impact assessment and

  • communication.

Regulatory Responsibilities and PACE Behaviours

To conduct yourself in accordance with the regulatory requirements and obligations of the regulated entities, paying due regard to the Financial Conduct Authority's Senior Manager and Certification Regime (as well as any other required local regulatory approvals and/or codes of ethics).

To ensure you consistently demonstrate behaviours in alignment with the PACE framework, including principles of Pioneer, Aspire, Collaborate and Empower across all levels of interaction.
