Lombard Odier Asset Management is looking for a Product & Strategy Apprentice to join their Product & Strategy department to support the delivery of the Product and Sales Strategy. This role will predominately be responsible for ensuring all data is managed and reported correctly as well as providing support across the team on specific initiatives and projects.
Within this role, the primary responsibility is for managing the departments data sources, extracting data as required and preparing reports and presentations to numerous stakeholders. The role will also support the wider team on projects from initiation to completion.
Programme Information
You will join as a trainee as part of the Investment20/20 Trainee programme. While we can’t guarantee a permanent position at the end of the 24-month contract, it is our intention to make the offer, but this is up to how well you perform. The Investment20/20 trainee programme is offered by many investment management firms.
As a trainee, you will be introduced to investment management and you will gain industry knowledge, experience and develop relationships to progress your career and develop skills to secure a permanent role. As part of the Investment20/20 programme, you will have opportunities to meet and network with over 250 trainees across the industry and participate in socials and insight events.
All roles are based in London.

Responsibilities
- Supporting the Sales Strategist in developing research that offer insight into sales results, sales effectiveness, customer information and that help set go-forward sales strategy
- Collaborating with the Sales Strategist in delivery of overall Sales Strategy team objectives
- Driving and implementing new sales processes and initiatives as needed
- On-going monitoring of Sales data quality (e.g. pipeline and activities), including working with business teams to perform data remediation where necessary
- Prepare regular internal reports for senior stakeholders of sales trends
- Assist in creating data governance policies and tracking progress towards goals
- Provide support in delivering regular and ad-hoc presentations as required
- Coordination of weekly Sales call including liaising with Investments and Sales teams
- Assist in ad-hoc queries and questions from internal clients/partners
- Support the Product Strategy team in delivery of market and competitor analysis
- Management of the team’s inbox
Management and Reporting
- Report to the Head of Product Development on any issues regarding the day-to-day operations of the Product function.
Risk
- Adhere to and understand risks to the Company.
Counterparties and clients
- Develop and maintain relationships with peers in across the organisation.
Communication
- Participate in team meetings providing others with updates on Product/Sales topics, market news.

Legal and Regulatory Responsibilities
- Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal requirements including, but not limited to, the LOAME Compliance manual and Compliance policies and procedures as issued from time to time: Financial Security requirements, including but not limited to, the prevention of Financial Crime and Fraud including reporting obligations to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer.
- Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure to be fully qualified to undertake the role. Complete all mandatory training as required to attain and maintain competence.
