Programme Information
You will join as a trainee as part of the Investment20/20 one-year trainee programme. While we can’t guarantee a permanent position at the end of the 12-month contract, however, if you perform well & if we have an open position available at the time, then permanent employment could be a possibility. The Investment20/20 trainee programme is offered by many investment management firms and 75% of the 3,000 Investment20/20 trainees are offered permanent positions at the end of the one year.
As a trainee, you will be introduced to investment management and you will gain industry knowledge, experience and develop relationships to progress your career and develop skills to secure a permanent role. We will support you in achieving/starting a professional qualification if this is something you are interested in doing (most firms offer it and we highly recommend doing so). As part of the Investment20/20 programme, you will have opportunities to meet and network with over 300 trainees across the industry and participate in socials and insight events.
Our trainee programme is a fixed term one-year contract paying £28,000. You will receive 27 days annual leave. All roles are based in London.
The Team
The Customer Insight and Digital Experience team is part of the global core marketing team and is responsible of the overall web estate and global user experience, as well as UK & US Social Media channels, Email Marketing and Analytics at a global level. We’re responsible for providing the best experience to our users across the whole digital spectrum.
Responsibilities include
You will work in the Core Global Marketing Function and will support the Web & Social Media Manager (based in France) on global and local digital projects to help implementing a comprehensive strategy to effectively leverage digital channels in increasing AXA IM’s visibility amongst its main clients.
You would also work on ad hoc projects across AXA IM Digital ecosystem such as website and fund centre enhancements, MarTech implementation, social media campaigns, digital transition, to gain a wide experience of digital marketing and corporate processes.
Support the day-to-day management of UK and US LinkedIn activity (targeting local audiences).
This will include in particular:
- Working within guidelines and policies in accordance with global and local, legal and compliance regulations
- Creating relevant editorial content for social channels in line with AXA IM’s social media strategy.
- Assisting in the development of digital content strategies and design assets for organic and paid social media
- Working with corporate channel owner and local marketing managers.
- Support the Web & Social Media Manager on the management of the AXA IM Global, Core, UK, US, Nordics, Mexico and training websites to curate and update content and ensure that we feature the most important pieces of content at any given time.
- Proactively source content from around the business which would be appropriate to re-use on web or/and social media platforms.
- Work closely with external agencies to always enhance the user experience across all digital channels (SEO, UX, Accessibility, Paid Campaigns).
- Run regular calls with the digital community of AXA IM and support the web coordination with all countries , ensure we share guidelines, best practices, and leverage where appropriate.
- Support in the analysis , review and report on effectiveness of web and social media activities to maximise results.
- Suggest/implement new processes , procedures or practices that help the team become a more efficient and effective resource for the AXA IM business.
- Help manage the team’s overall efficiency by helping to prepare meetings as well as maintaining workflows and pipeline documents as and when relevant.
- Skills-based development: Over time the candidate will also take ownership of ad hoc web and social media projects to develop project management and broader communications skills.
Knowledge and Skills, you need
- You will be an enthusiastic self-starter with interest for digital marketing
- Good English language
- Good attention to detail and accuracy is essential
- Ability to work autonomously is a must
- Excellent interpersonal and team working skills, and the ability to liaise with a variety of staff of all levels
- High organisational skills and ability to prioritise
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Good knowledge of InDesign and After Effects is an advantage but not necessary
