Our growing Commercial team specialises in digital sales, project management, commerce and brand partnerships and these will be the teams for your rotations during the graduate programme. We are looking for a graduate who wants to be part of our brilliant team, starting in September 2025.
Advertising and commerce is a vital part of our business at the Telegraph and future growth strategy. Commercially we have reimagined the advertising experience so that brands share the space responsibly with our journalism. As a result of this, and our wealth of audience and publisher data, brands enjoy far greater attention and campaign effectiveness.
You will work alongside a variety of different areas of the commercial department, from design and research to project management and operations, to support the sales teams in reaching their targets and promoting the power of our subscriber audience and environments, to media buying agencies and brand marketing teams.
Alongside on the job training from the team you will also have the opportunity to participate in development sessions and workshops to enhance your skills and knowledge in the field of Trade Marketing to support your study towards an industry recognised qualification.
What to expect from the programme:
- You’ll work to support the revenue and volume growth of our advertising and commerce businesses, across the breadth of Telegraph content.
- Help with the development and implementation of industry-leading marketing that utilises all appropriate channels to improve understanding and perceptions of The Telegraph brand and products across our diverse B2B audiences.
- Gain experience developing marketing communications including presentations and pitches that inform, inspire and increase consideration of The Telegraph with advertisers and commercial partners.
- You’ll become an expert in our client engagement strategy, working to develop our contact database and subscription program whilst working closely with our internal research teams to identify relevant trends.
Requirements
- Independent individual contributor and self-motivating collaborative team player.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to build relationships and work confidently with internal and external teams.
- Creative, with great copywriting skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Good project management and multitasking skills.
- Ability to analyse data and make recommendations based on trends and insight.
- Confident in bringing new and relevant ideas to the table.
- Excellent attention to detail, planning, organisational and time management skills with the ability to work to competing tight deadlines under pressure, with a positive attitude
- Good understanding of (and passion for) marketing and media.
