The Finance department plays a central role within the company and is responsible for providing the financial accounting and reporting, management information, budget process and all other company accounting requirements.
The role
The purpose of the Finance Graduate Scheme is to build thorough knowledge of the core Finance functions and to provide a range of opportunities and experiences for a career in Finance. Whichever team you work in, whether you’re using your commercial knowledge to support budgeting and forecasting, or or dealing with suppliers to secure payments, you’ll be contributing to the organisation’s continued success.
By the end of the Graduate scheme the individual will potentially be in a position to apply for a role within a variety of specialisms, including Transactional Finance, Treasury, Financial Control, FP&A and Tax. You’ll also have the opportunity to take on and complete a finance qualification (eg CIMA/ACCA).
What to expect
You’ll have the opportunity to work across a range of finance teams including Transactional Finance and Treasury, Financial Control, FP&A and Tax where you’ll gain exposure to a wide variety of responsibilities;
- Financial Planning and Analysis within Commercial, Technology & Operations and Editorial areas of the business
- Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Treasury
- Financial Control reporting, audit preparation and process
- Tax compliance and risk management
- Finance business intelligence/systems
Requirements
- Passion for for a career in Finance
- Great numeracy skills, with attention to detail
- Microsoft Office Excel and Google Sheets knowledge
- Has a curious nature and has great ability to problem solve
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, able to liaise and adapt communication style with colleagues at different levels
- Self- motivated with the ability to be organised and efficient to manage and prioritise a diverse workload alongside studying for a qualification
- Ability to work under pressure and to work in a fast-paced organisation, following through on all tasks to quick resolution
- Comfortable working independently and working in teams to identify and recommend solutions

An assessment centres will be conducted on 16 April 2025 and you may be invited to complete pre-assessments beforehand. The successful candidates will join the team in September, 2025.

Training and development
The successful candidate will be provided with training on all tools and reports required for the role, this includes studying towards a CIMA/ACCA qualification.
